Once your products or services are set up, it's time to add 'Party Details.' Follow these simple steps:

  • In the left-side menu, click on 'Party.'
  • On the right side, click on 'New Party,' and a pop-up will appear on the screen.

In this pop-up, enter essential information such as 'Party Code,' select 'Party Type,' input the 'Party Name,' and provide details like 'GST Number,' 'PAN Number,' and more. If you enter the GST number initially, relevant details like PAN, Business name, and Billing address will be auto-populated.

Scroll down the page and add additional details, including 'Opening Balance,' 'Opening Balance Date,' and other required information. Move ahead to 'Billing Address.' If you've entered the GST number, the address will be auto-populated. Add extra details such as 'City,' 'Email ID,' etc.

To add extra contacts or multiple shipping addresses:

  • Select 'Additional Contact' to add more contacts.
  • For multiple shipping addresses, choose 'Shipping Address' from the menu above and input the required details.

  • From the menu, select 'Banks.'
  • Add 'Bank Name,' 'IFSC Code,' 'Branch,' 'Account Number,' and select the currency.

  • Go back and select 'Excel Import.'
  • Download the Excel template by selecting 'Default Template.'
  • Open the template, add party details, and import the updated sheet back into CaptainBiz.
  • You can also download all customer details by clicking 'Excel Export.'
